Beamer Landing is a premium residential development, currently in construction phase, located in the north end of Thorold. With this new community, builder Silvergate Homes expands its development portfolio with this latest and by far most modern build. Several new homes have already been constructed, with multiple homes showcasing flat roof design and modern features, a rarity throughout the Niagara Region.

Beamer Landing Home Information

Silvergate has chosen 165 Collier Rd. South in Thorold as the location for this unique community. In 2012, the city of Thorold approved a site plan for the 14 detached single-family home community. The detached homes, which include a number of different models, start at 1,900 sq. ft. and are priced between $448,000 and $525,000.

The cul-de-sac community had one lot remaining as of August 2015 in addition to the model home.

Limiting the impact of student housing

This ideal location borders the south end of St. Catharines and is close to Brock University. The neighbourhood is a mix of student housing and family homes. This new build is designed in a way to encourage a local family focused neighbourhood and to discourage student rentals.

A Thorold Heritage site

The development is built on the large and historic lot of the Beamer House. The Beamer House, city-famous for a double murder in 1958, is a red-brick farmhouse and is considered a historic building. Believed to be built in 1845, the hopes are that the old build will blend in with the new modern look of the 14 home community.
